Sometimes life can be tough. Sometimes life is great. But either way, there is always the Earth, mother nature, the forces of Life and Love, the sisters of fate that weave the Web of Wyrd. Or wwhatever you want to call it. In our druid tradition we sometimes refer to these powers as the Goddess. These powers shape us and are always there, in good times and bad times. This song is about a few manifestatiosn of this goddess
There She Is
(Nico, july 2008)
Am C Am C
When I go to stare in the Sun
To burn way the pain of the things that were lost
When I want to flee and go on the run.
Because love and Life come at a cost.
G D F
Then there she is, underneath my feet,
Turning at the Wheel. where the fibers meet
of the strands of Time, of The web of Wyrd,
Where I can learn, what the spirits teach.
Am C Am C
And when I go to look at the sunset
Or stare in the eyes of the love of my life
When I feel cords that are woven between us
Or peer through the veil to see what’s at the other side
G D F
Then there she is, high above the trees
Turning to the Moon, to merry meet
The powers of change, Mystery of Love
Where I can search, and find my peace.
Am C Am C (4x)
G D F
Then there she is, underneath my feet,
Turning at the Wheel, where the fibers meet
of the strands of Time, of the Web of Wyrd,
Where I can learn what the Spirits teach.
G D F
Hail to the Goddess, love to the Earth
She will sustain me, she will be there, she will be there,,in good times and bad times.
Hail to the Goddess, love to the Earth
She will sustain me, she will be there, she will be there, in good times and bad times.
